Interview With a Vampire

I found this novel to be quite interesting with how a vampire’s life is along with his experiences. I found it interesting that Louis the main protagonist explains his life story on his life before and as a vampire. The main idea I want to get across with this novel is the conflict between Lestat, Claudia, and Louis and how it affects their story and perspective on the story. In my opinion, Louis should have escaped Lestat the vampire villain sooner without the consequence of Claudia being turned into a vampire. In my perspective I find it interesting that Lestat teaches Claudia how to kill others but Louis and Claudia start to hate Lestat and try to go against him. I find it interesting how both conflicts of Louis and Lestat grows and evolves into a warlike atmosphere with the two. In my perspective I would want Claudia to attack and fight Lestat with more training and advanced training from Louis to stop Lestat along with their dire experiences. I would want to find a way to see all perspectives of each character and what they stand for along with their true purposes as vampires and to see if they will use their vampire abilities for good and bad. I would want to see character arcs with both good and bad routes with how each character takes their role. I feel like in this book Louis takes on the hero’s journey role and evolves and learns more and more over time.

In this novel The Martian I observed and analyzed the unique situation of Mark Watney of being stranded on Mars from a terrible sandstorm while his crew flew off. I think in my opinion the reader is engaged and interested all the way through since most of it is based on Mark and his experience on surviving on Mars while trying to find a way back home to Earth. What I analyzed from this book was how Mark used some farming techniques from Earth on Mars that works and ensures his survival for a while. The book makes the reader think about how he/she would survive if he/she was in Mark’s situation and it creates a way of problem solving. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

What I found by pure observation about a Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was how bizarre, intense, and random the story is. One idea that I wanted to analyze and take from this story was the meaning behind Arthur and the number 42. I found it this book very enjoyable to read through mainly because there is humor and jokes all the way through. In my opinion it's like the author doesn’t want the reader to take it seriously but for the reader to laugh and have fun while reading. This is science fiction is made to laugh at itself while honoring its true rich tradition, but to myself it feels like it is much more than that. Adams' peculiarly dead-on humor also draws deeply from well thought out sociology, philosophy, and of course science. Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is unique to me in every way with how the story unfolds. Throughout the novel I observed many things with how the story focuses on magic, wizards, and Hogwarts academy along with Harry Potter’s story. I observed how students in Hogwarts were divided into four separate classes and in the novel it depicts the what type of student you are and how that class affects others in good or bad ways. I found it as the reader to be relatable to society in my opinion since society has different types of organizations and groups of people doing their jobs. I found that to be interesting with that part of the novel and what each class would represent for the story and for Harry Potter. Also I was interested in the idea of Voldemort's intentions and ways of ruining Harry Potter.
